Brother Ritechus N. Dignation is an ornery ole fellow and a right likable guy....both at the same time. How can this be? Well, he speaks his mind without mincing words, yet never in a caustic way. He complains, but also commends. He castigates the pulpit as well as the pew. He preaches, but then picks in fun. Mary Poppins said “A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down” and Brother RND usually gives just enough sugar to make the medicine bearable. You may not always agree with him, but then as Brother Ritechus himself might say, in his “down South“ way, “Well, you're just on the wrong side of the fence.”
